Product Description

This King Edward VIII Coronation Collectible is a very unique decor piece. The etched text reads ER VIII 1937.

A little history behind this piece: King Edward VIII’s coronation was set to take place May 12, 1937, however when he chose to marry an American, Wallis Simpson, who was seen as unfit as she was going through her second divorce, he was forced to abdicate the throne to his brother, King George VI. King George VI proceeded to have his coronation day on May 12, 1937.

In order for this piece and its text to be best viewed we poured coffee into it, however it is sadly not included with purchase (;
