Shipping Information

Off The Cape utilizes several different kinds of shipping methods. Our goal is to get the item/items you have purchased to you in the safest and most economical fashion. Your shipping quote will be given to you at the time of checkout.  On larger items we will request a shipping quote from our manufacturer once your address is submitted. Most new items will ship directly to you from the manufacturer. Those items will arrive from the shipping company that they individually use. This may be Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, or a freight line company depending on the size. If you purchase multiple items from different manufacturers your items will ship separately and at different times.

You will receive most of our items in 2  weeks unless you inform us that you need a rush order.  Custom upholstery items can take 8-10 weeks on average. These quotes are based on items being in stock, and fabrics available at the time of the order. We will do our best to notify you, the customer, of any backorders or product issues as soon as Off The Cape is notified by the manufacturer. At that time, you will be given the opportunity to exchange items, cancel the order for a full refund or wait for the item. In the case that you choose to wait, we will update you to the best of our ability on the estimated ship dates.

Larger and/or heavier pieces will be delivered by truck to your door. You will be asked to submit your address for delivery at the time of the order so that we can quote you an estimated cost of shipment. You will also have the opportunity in some situations to pay extra for a white glove delivery service. This service will unwrap your piece of furniture and place it inside of your home and dispose of the packing materials. The delivery company may choose to charge an additional fee if asked to take the item up or down flights of stairs. The company will call you ahead of time to arrange a delivery time window. It is your responsibility to have someone at the address for delivery. If someone fails to be there when they arrive you will be charged a fee to re-schedule and re-deliver.
