Return Policy

Look, I am a people pleaser so I’m going to do what I can to provide excellent customer service. The first step of that goal is to let you know some of Off The Cape’s basic return policies. We can not take returns on special order items, upholstery pieces, sale items or bedding. I am sure you can understand. You wouldn’t want to sleep on sheets that someone else may have already used do ya?

Vintage pieces, lighting, and Dash and Albert pieces can be shipped back at your expense and we will credit you the amount of the item. The item has to be returned within 15 days. Please return the item unused and in it’s original packaging. The amount will be credited back to you in the form that you paid with. *Here is a note of warning on the vintage pieces. They are vintage, and I like a lot of character in my pieces. So chances are they will have some bumps and bruises! I hope you will have grace with them.

If you receive a new product that is damaged, and or not made properly, please contact us within 48 hours so we can contact the manufacturer and work to make things right. Upholstery items and larger pieces will more than likely come by way of a white glove delivery service. You must carefully check the product at the time of delivery before signing off. Any claims made after the driver leaves will be null and void. Also, items can’t be refused due to a change of mind. It is kind of like having children. We may question our decision at times, but you keep them because you made a choice and you know they will eventually be on your good side again! My hope is that you will fall in love with the piece eventually because you will be charged regardless in this situation.
